The Source - New Year 2026

The illustration "While the source lays open in our hands" was created on the occasion of the Chinese New Year 2026, which is marked by the horse in combination with the element "fire". Two energetic elements come together. The horse stands for action, freedom and movement. Fire brings intensity, urgency, and passion. What may seem motivating at first can also be exhausting in this combination. As is so often the case, it is up to us how we deal with it and use our energy.

It’s a 4 colour print, pulled by hand in a studio in Hamburg on 240gsm smooth Metapaper paper, FSC certified.

Edition of 80 copies all are signed & numbered and will be shipped flat inside silk paper in a strong cardboard housing. The framed version will be shipped rolled.

The framed version comes with magnetic poster holders, made in Europe from FSC Oakwood. Two pieces, size 31cm x 2cm.
